Egg Drop!
On April 10, 1999, an energetic group of students descended on Hicks Hall at
Swarthmore College, anxious to see if the devices they had built would protect
eggs from a dizzying fifty-foot drop onto pavement. It was a fun-filled,
exciting day. The aspiring engineers met the challenge with astonishing works
of ingenious design and solid craftsmanship. Many of the
devices were successful! Remember this simple equation:
ENGINEERING = FUN!
