I graduated from Swarthmore in 2003 with a double major in Computer Science and Engineering. While at Swat, I somehow managed to participate in several extra curricular activities. I was the president of the Swarthmore African Students Association, the chapter president of the National Society of Black Engineers, Chief Engineer for the WSRN radio station. I also joined the Swarthmore men's varsity soccer team my senior year; I guess as a stress relief mechanism.
I am currently at the Johns Hopkins University, doing my Masters in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. Swarthmore has prepared me well for the venue I chose. I will be looking into joining the work force once I graduate from this program.
It might be a little too late to contact me regarding grad school application process but if you have questions regarding life as a grad student, please feel free to contact me at atesfay2@jhu.edu.
